...the clock strikes the witching hour...

Namaste!

From a fellow blogger - thanx Adam! - stating the obvious for the 2009 USA presidential election:

Why NOT to vote for Hillary Clinton

Do we really want history to line up Presidential names like this?

1988 - Bush
1992 - Clinton
1996 - Clinton
2000 - Bush
2004 - Bush
2008 - Clinton (since we just like to be popular, have short term memories and no sense of history)

2012 - Clinton (because parties have been renamed Clintons and Bushies. We decide we like a leader who can spell, pronounce words and complete sentences and she can't possibly screw up the country any more than the previous guy did in eight years.)

2016 - Bush (because there are plenty more and we've proven ourselves to have short term memories, no sense of history and like four letter words)

Why not elect Blake and Alexis Carrington Colby (John Forsythe and Joan Collins on Dynasty) and we can call politics what it really is. A prime time soap opera with a big budget. Note that I didn't say JR Ewing because I don't want Secret Service at my door asking who shot him.

Really people, if that's not a good reason...what is??!!??

...e...other news of note?...e...

!Let's spin a positive turn into events now!!

Went to my parents joint 60th birthday party on Sat 27/10...e...had a great time, & the stragglers @ midnight proved they still had 'it' by having a left-over's bread bun & boiled potato fight in the hall the party was held in, when it was winding up - way to go guys & gals!!! Quite apart from that i really enjoyed catching up with various relatives, some of whom i hadn't spoken with for years...thanx to everyone who participated!

Finishing with some more good news for NZ outdoors enthusiasts:
