Confirmation Bias

Map just tickled my fancy as it reminded me of more angles of 'confirmation bias' which I have had multiple synchronicities with of late...oh the bias's we love to be blind to! We should look close @ our bias's, cause they are a simple tool to direct awakening.

The evolution of bias can be winnowed down to any imbalance between likes & dislikes, largely 'unexamined' by the intellect, but sloted into place by either/both of the reptilian brain stem that controls our instincts & the mammalian limbic/emotional, middle brain structures.

The intellect in the neo-cortex has little access to the mid & lower brain structures on a direct rational self inquiry basis, @ least not in 'real time' situations that demand answers asap. However we can access these mid/lower regions by bringing mindful, loving, awareness to the emotional & bodily reactions that are caused by various stimuli, both of in & exterior varieties...dislikes & likes, costs & benefits, a movable feast continuim of desire/aversion that can swing wildly between the poles of bias...& acceptance.

The whole body-minds reaction to stimuli is a study in bias from introduction, recognition as 'other', understanding, acceptance & integration...ready for the next stimuli...

The above would be just one of many possible solutions to our global greed/financial crisis conundrum it would seem to me, but quite a good one to begin with.

This, or something like it, should be the start of an international co-operative competition, the prize for which is to be of the greatest benefit for all humanity.

LETS Harness our collective energy for compassionate loving goodness & design an energy exchange system where little ole me, one person, one student of love, is rewarded for the amount of energy I put back into the One, converted from the least amount of energy consumed from the One.

LET us all truly learn be One Love together.

Amen- LET it be so!!

The ultimate reward, from this challenge for ourselves to collaborate on a local to global scale for finding the best evolutionary wave/s to surf on, is for our own personal & humanity's collective salvation.

So here's an idea below I've been toying with. Obviously still needs more work, but, here you go!! Have been thinking about it for a while, but been inspired by Mike Rivero's 'Lectro' to jot down my thoughts to give them some more cohesion.

From a part of all this seething energy, like a plasma surrounding & infusing us, which many of us are already rapidly learning how to massage into more beneficial streams of intention, perhaps we can put something into a physical structure...

Like a Metta-Compassion Bank.

YES WE CAN!! ...finesse a financial system that doesn't only take from us, but gives back to us, based on our own SPECIFIC personal & collective positive energetic performance in life.

What you get is what you give- simple as that.

But to obtain this (nearly) heaven on earth, the education about how to inspire to, & harness the elephant of, optimum loving energy performance would be best had for free, not for a fee, ensuring it is (more likely) delivered in a non-partisan manner.

This free education will have necessary & appropriate cautions about 'biting off more than you can chew', & non-judgmental assistance for any who inadvertently do - those who do dance too early with the siren of serpent-like materialistic power, Ms Kundalini. What a lovely apple you have to share there !!

When we do bite off too much, all that results is an overpowerment, an ego inflation that is paradoxically a regression of one's consciousness into unconsciousness, as Carl Jung says. This always happens when an individual takes on too many 'unconscious contents' upon oneself & loses the faculty of positive discrimination.

However, there is no consciousness at all without discrimination between opposites.

This is OBVIOUSLY what has happened to a great many/most of the financial & political power elites whereby their ability to discriminate good from bad effects of their social & business policies have ended up skewed into almost pure negative discrimination, & greed/fear of loss is what has been manifested.

It is blindingly obvious that 'the trickle down effect' is a severely flawed premise & believing in this 'religion' has brought us to where we stand today - on the edge of global financial meltdown...not to mention an ecological meltdown directly related to above said greed/fear.

To start with, we MUST thus FIRST learn how to operate our own WHOLE brain-body to start with, educate ourselves (& 'the other') how to operate all 3 levels of reptilian, emotional & intellectual miracles of brain-matter we each possess, from which the 4th level of brain morphs into mind.

Metaphorical Logos marries Eros, & I/we will then begin to e/merge with/in 'mind at large', our higher Self, Great Spirit, or God if you prefer.

Homo Sapians can now evolve into Homo Sophia!!

This marriage of opposites melds soul-heart & mind-body into a successful creative union for the good of All.

However, any commercial educational enterprises that then succeeds from the All, (versus the quasi-success of the FREE education systems that are already VERY proven over the last few centuries, in various cultures), are to invest a minimum of 50% of their profits into other enterprises that are purely for the good of the wider community, again local through to global.

And it is now way past time & essential that our modes of mass communication & the media moguls that direct it will need be given an ethical 'code of conduct' that speaks for all parts of society to uphold.

For if we can't believe what we see/hear/feel/find in the 'News' of the medium of media that we are aligned to, then what can we trust? We need to be able to trust more than just our closest family & friends. We need to write the ethic of trust into something, perhaps even like a citizens code of conduct. Maybe there could be different codes we could adhere to that are treated, or taxed, in different ways depending upon how giving they are.

A GOOD EDUCATION SYSTEM would put debating about & enacting these type of solutions into the heart of all human endeavor. What good is an education if the outcome is not to evolve us into being more fully human? The Goal? The animate animal & the inanimate spirit at peace within us.

LETS move past using but 10% of our brain -hats of to Einstein but- & access 100% of MIND OVER MATTER. If this really matters to us we will put our minds to it- right? No child left behind should be everyone's birthright!

.......so in that outpouring of idea's is perhaps a genesis for another possible solution, &/or to be combined with the Lectro perhaps? Somewhere in this coming debate we will find many solutions, & the urgent task is to marry them into a gift of the greatest benefit for the weakest of those amongst us. Many, MANY, amazing people have already dedicated themselves to the attainment of similar goals. LETS all do it! "Why? Why not?" said Saint Timothy. For this is how we need to measure our humanity, our status in society must be reflected thus; not by how many dollars of personal wealth that you have retained, but by how much you have given away.

There is NO genuine debate on the justice of this call to action.

Start counting the calories & harvesting the kilojoules, & what better moment to start than now!

Peter Dunne - Another Hypocrite...

...sure I smoked pot 'a couple of times in the 70's'.

I got away with it, but if you try it today I am going to criminalize you for the rest of your life.

One law for me, a different law for you.

If people admit to 'victimless offences' in their past for which they would have been convicted of a crime if they had been caught, why do they have a free pass, a get of of jail free card, if they admit it 'today'??

Why is that?

And how are we supposed to take them seriously on the subject anymore?
