Namaste!
Apologies for the lack of reference links, & the obvious over-reliance on a particular source to bolster the story, but i hope it speaks for itself...e...
So lets begin...e...
Once upon a time, not so long ago...e...
a great nation's leaders decided that if they were going to lie, they may as well tell one of the 'Big Lies'.
...e...the consequences of which are about to hit the roost...e... i will now extrapolate.
When we face history metaphorically as a 'lived fairy tale', we draw a truth from the mix of public peoples memories - those peoples whose unique prescence's had forged a recognised path up through time, through to all the nameless souls whose minds are mined on phone surveys & for consumer research...e...all part of humanity's 'knowledge pool' if you like...e...
With this so called knowledge, numerous future social policies are (re)created.
Once these are solidly fashioned from the various cultural memetic artifacts, we are then faced with a conundrum...!
So often, despite the calm, rationalised, ideal of our best intentions, (an arcane lore then often written into 'The Law'), the lived reality has many unexpected twists which often end in the emotionally intense 'un-intended consequences' that so many of the people in various countries have to endure.
From a society dead due to beauraucratic self strangulation, to the corrupted political paradise, to the unspoilt tropical haven, a rejuvenation must occur across those optimistic individuals who are youthful of heart & mind, in all societies!
This rejuvenation is especially neccesary for the Baby Boomers, perhaps the first semi-social revolution of the youthful heart...e...very much for their own interests - especially in USA - yet also in the interests of everyone. The 1960's held many firsts on many fronts, however one particular facet of the media's lense has perhaps failed to illuminate a particular shadow...e...
From 'Media', i first wish to extract the original 'meaning' of this word: 'Media':
...e...a word far, far too often not understood...e...
That shadowy facet is; how the explosion of media has likewise facilitated an explosion of 'The Information Experience', which in turn, becomes a gold mine for wisdom...e...accelerated daily by the increasingly interconnected www linking to so many peoples wetware as they sit in front of their PC.
This increasingly creates a daily reality that resembles a recursive language loop. Then it may become either a descent into shared individual insanity, or with faith filled hope, become an ascent of breakthrough to a more 'wholistic' level.
Both descent & ascent can be shared within the individual, & society, at different times, & simultaneously.
Focusing on the ascent breakthrough, one may wish to contribute something new back into the potential chaos of 'The Complexity Zoo' that we all share, or bring out of the shadow a shining jewel that few, if anybody, had even noticed until just now...e...Jew-El; the Chosen people-of-God , the oldest(?) remaining people who recognise the Oneness of creation...e...& just as easily go & forget again!!
How were the Jews effected by "The Babylonian Captivity"?? You've got to wonder, as of course this was the period when 'The Media(n) Empire' was in control of Babylon...life love's looping the magi(c) loop...
TO PAINT A PICTURE of the human mind through history as a gatherer of information, vast quantities of information, & to glean some alchemistical understanding of the wisdom gained in the continuouse polishing of the Stone...e...the Magi are some of the oldest practitioners...e...
Yes, high priests of power, the Modern Media is, ironically, largely controlled by people's of Jewish extraction - what a charming co-incidence...e...
Are YOU able to read the context & understand the widest meaning of the reason i included that previous sentence??
What i am trying to say, is that the Jewish people were 'supposedly' the 1st people to truly grasp the 'Oneness of the Universe', as opposed to the near miss of the Babylonian Zorastrians, who apparently got hooked up on the final duality of 'good vs evil'...e...although the flame that symbolized their faith is a fitting metaphor of the incandescent impermanence of existance...e...thus the Jewish people, or @ least their priests & prophets grasped that Enlightenment is a necessary aspect of the evolution of humanity, & that this enlightenment is a process, an ongoing experience, that never ceases once it is grasped & enfolded into one's cultural milieu...e...throughout the ages of various oppression's the wisest of the Jew's have held fast to this truth, & 'we the world' need it more than ever before!!!
Anyway, the Zorastrians are no longer a 'world force', unlike the Jew's who continue, despite their proportionately low number of people, to be very influential on the world stage at the present time.
[I KNOW there are the contemporary, or even earlier(?) examples of the Buddha & Lao Tzu coming to the same realizations, however i am speaking from a 'Westerners' perspective to a 'Western audience' & the Chinese & Indian peoples know that the Jewish, Christian & Muslim path to the process of enlightened loving forgiveness is equally valid & necessary for their own societies. I don't need to state the obvious do i? Once is enough!]
Thus the long delayed opportunity for the Jews, in these days of unparalleled full spectrum media saturation dominance & control by individuals of their own ethnicity, to try again to demonstrate to the world how G-d's core teaching of loving forgiveness can be actualised within 'the promised land'...e...remebering that according to various messiah's over the ages, this land has been promised to many people.
Bringing this basic, yet exceedingly challenging, moral value to bear in these times, would provide a shining beacon of Enlightenment to all people, & impetus to lay down arms, & beat swords into ploughshares, if you will. It would also be a prompt for the Christians to remember that their prophet, the Jew 'Jesus', is still waiting for most of his reluctant flock to embrace his same message of loving forgiveness in his maxim of:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments". Matthew 22:36-40
Muhammed, peace be upon him, of course, spoke of the same path, & that he ascended to 'heaven' from Jerusalem speaks volumes in itself...e...
Humanity has been waiting thousands of years for the Jews, the Christians, & the Muslims to enact this deceptively simple truth - NOW is the time, as NOW has always been, & forever NOW will be!!!
Make 'The Promised Land' an example to the world of the truth that has been waiting too long!!
So NOW that we have an idea of the metaphorical duration of this Magnum opus, we can perhaps perceive, on one level, a possible opportunity for the creation of this ascending breakthrough leading to exponential spiritual growth for all humanity.
And i refer back to the leading sentence & link in this article i'm writing.
"A great nation's leaders decided that if they were going to lie, they may as well tell one of the 'Big Lies".
To wrap up...e...
The USA'a last couple of administration's, both Clinton & now Bush have been plundering the 'Social Security' retirement funds of it's own Baby Boomer demographic in order to fight wars for material gain...e...oh how the American Baby Boomers are going to get trashed on so soon now...e...UNLESS...e...they take up the batten in the challenge to aquire COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUESS EVOLUTION. America is the number one allie of Israel, so if Israel were to walk the walk of Enlightenment, then the Baby Boomers could refocus, regrasp the batton, & finish what they started in the 1960's before they got distracted by the material life, government interference, etc, etc...e...
So that is the choice: the USA (& the world) will be bankrupt within 5 years - 2012 anyone? - & either in a state of perpetual war, & we're almost there already, or the Baby Boomers can re-create their idealistic hope for themselves, their families & the planet, rise up as a whole segment within American society & say:
"I know this is in a way self-interested, but we can avoid disaster on a national & global stage if we choose to cease AVOIDING THE OBVIOUS".
We must admit to ourselves that the material excesses of the past 40 years have held back 'The Great Work' for all of us, because we now can ALL realise that the enlightenment we seek in isolation has gone past the level of the individual, & history now calls us to a future of common communion amongest all humanity, for we no longer have ANY spare time or space to consider any other viable alternatives...e...enlightenment is now!
The choice is no longer the individuals, but a requirement for being a complete human being in the 21st century...
From the Sermon on the Mount - "not my will but Thy will be done", said the prophet Jesus.
With America the great modern era's hope for an 'enlightened society', staggering under the weight of it's own accelerating corruption, the Baby Boomers are the group whose enlightenment is required to blaze the way for all humanity in a truly ethical & moral example of leading a life of loving compassionate forgiveness towards all of Creation...e...
The ball is indeed in their court.
The Baby Boomers will have to unite in order to return it.
May this miracle happen.
To finish; an attempt at a poem that i wrote the other day:
Philerosophi spirals,
the expanding
Mindbody's wisdom,
back into a,
growing cyclone of
Converging
love,
In communing,
love,
In experiencing,
love,
Within life's
Eternal
Embracing
Of the
Creative
Principals
Multiplicity
...of...e...of...e...of...
Precious moments
In Universal Unity...e...e...
peace!
pSi :-)
Mystery is my-story... Individuation is 4ever ongoing into the beyond trinity of 1+...so sayeth Maria the Jewess...look her up & re-triangulate the torus... philerosophi-e...3 loves + = philia; mind love, eros; body love, sophi; + wisdom, then 'e'; agape; a gap-'e';...god love...& spiral out/in... ...return...

Corporate Honesty vs Web Freedom
Namaste!
Can you trust the Corporate media kiddies?
CNN, FOX, ABC, BBC, etc etc...anagram's for Africa, but starved for the larger truth!!
Well here's a clip, from the doco "The Corporation", that illuminates that in the USA at least, telling the truth is NOT a requirement when reporting 'The News'.
Martin Luther King spoke convincingly at Riverside church in New York in 1967, about the perils of Corporations controlling our future, & for this impudence more than anything else, i believe he was dead less than a year later...
What has changed since then? We have more, more, MORE of the same, with humanity & the planet much worse off for it.
The lunacy of this whole debacle is beautifully illustrated by the wonderful wordsmith, Mark Morford, in this classic example of how the Corporate Wars have driven us into terrible deadend cul-de-sacs of hubris driven tragedy...
Yes, indeed the 'War Against (some) Drugs' is very largely driven by hysterical editorial in most corporate media, when there is more than ample, in fact huge amounts, of very convincing evidence that this 'War' is really an angle on the 'War Against Consciousness'.
The punishment model is a failure, & NEEDS to be replaced by the harm reduction model. I could go on a huge tangent about the pro's & con's of various versions of drugs, but will not - try here & here for a reminder to learn more about the reality, rather than the propaganda.
The War Against Consciousness...i say it again, as this very medium, "The Internet", is experiencing a less than convert war for control of peoples online access & the information that they are exposed to...
...& what is the Internet??
One giant PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCE - that's for sure!!
MANIFEST MY MIND!! AND YOURS!! AND YOURS!! AND YOURS!!...!!...!!!...!!...
According to Steve Anderson's story, only 20 websites capture a staggering 39% of all time spent online by USA users!!.
That is incredible!!
The internet has only existed for approximately 15 years as a popular medium, & already almost 40% of people's time online is spent viewing the architecture & content controlled by just a few corporates - largely, Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, & Fox (Myspace).
But the little guy's - us - are fighting back. Steve's article links to "Freespeech TV Community", a website in the spirit of Wikipedia & Firefox - opensource, user generated content.
Power to the people!!
Which of course brings me to question my own use of Blogger.com, owned courtesy of Google since c.2003.
Am i being a complete hypocrite here??!!??
Well, part of the dilemma is of course, audience exposure...& the corporates certainly draw an audience as already noted...not that that has concerned moiself as yet, cause while i'm still finding my feet on this whole 'online publishing' thing, i care not a rooty-toot-toot of a hoot if i get any readers or not.
I believe i have had exactly ONE comment in the 6 months that this blog has been running...but i haven't checked for ages, so you never know!!
What's more, i am NOT saying that Corporates are the equivalent of banal evilness, & it is OBVIOUS that they do cover, & support many, many worthy voices & activities.
However, it never pays to have all your eggs in just one - or a few - baskets, & being freed somewhat from the ever ubiquitous advertising is a draw for many in the least!!
ANYHOW, i have decided to investigate beginning a second "philerosophi" blog on an open source site, perhaps community.freespeech.org, where i will focus more on what this blog was originally supposed to be about - the philerosophi love spiral - & maintain THIS blog as a window to a greater audience...
...sort of like a meta-link from one community to another...
Partly inspired by Les Visible's great 'smokingmirrors.blogspot.com'.
